✅ CONFIRMED: Okay this one is exciting on many levels. The best-selling queer gay novel “Love In the Big City” is not only getting a K-Movie starring KIM GO EUN & NOH SANG HYUN but it has been confirmed that it is also getting an 8 episode KDrama starring NAM YOON SOO. “Love In the Big City” tells the story of the ups and downs of a gay man in life & love in Seoul, over the course of 10 years. The Kdrama will tell the full story of the novel throughout its 8 episodes. The Movie will cover just one story from within the novel. Love to see this level of representation in the media with big names attached, bringing much-needed support to the LGBTQ+ Community in Korea.

 ✅ CONFIRMED: LEE SANG YI will be joining KIM YOO JUNG & SONG KANG in “My Demon”. The trailer below ⬇️ doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of the tropes that we are being gifted with in this one. Fake Marriage. Contract Co-habitation. Mystical Beings. And now Lee Sang Yi? Please. Sign me up.

 ✅ CONFIRMED: Upcoming Kdrama “Not Very Strong But Charming Victims Crime Unit” (they’re going to shorten that title right?) has confirmed their female lead: PARK SE WAN. Looking at her MDL I’m not horribly familiar with her work, but I am looking forward to seeing her paired up & most likely bickering with KIM DONG WOOK. Though we are still waiting to hear if he accepts the role - the man is busy getting married and whatnot so we’ll cut him some slack!

🧐 OFFER: AHN BO HYUN is said to be reviewing a new historical romance “Haesi’s Shinru”. This role was originally offered to KIM SEON HO but obviously fell through. No word if Kim Seon Ho passed or other issues were at play but now it’s on Ahn Bo Hyun’s desk waiting a decision. If “See You In My 19th Life” gave me anything it was a desire to see Ahn Bo Hyun back in historical garb. Hope this one moves to CONFIRMED!

🗣️RUMOR: CHOI WOO SIK is reportedly teaming back up with his “My Beloved Summer” director on another RomCom “MeloMovie”.

🗣️RUMOR: KIM YO HAN may be joining BAE DOONA on “Family Plan”. He will be playing a genius hacker who dreams of becoming a psychopath…as one does. 

🗣️RUMOR: YEON WOO replacing KANG HAE RIM in the drama “Gaslighting”. Kim Hae Rim dropped out when production paused in August.

🗣️RUMOR: HWANG HEE is the latest name floated to be joining the webtoon based drama “Fantasy Sonata”. PARK JI HOON & HONG YE JI are reported to be leading the drama.

ROWOON wasting zero time between dramas! “The Matchmakers” will hit our screens OCT. 30

“Moon In the Day” has bumped its premiere date by a week! It will now premiere on NOV 1 on Viki
