”Queen of Tears” Has A Bit of Everything

★ Queen of Tears

This is going to be epic right?! So many moving parts and ridiculously fun characters! There’s Comedy. Melodrama. Fashion. Family Chaos. Love Triangle. Husbands handling kitchen duty for all official events (my favorite!) and Incurable (maybe?) Foggy Brain Tumors…because of course!

Writer PARK JI EUN has given us some of the most iconic couples in KDrama: “Crash Landing On You”, “Legend of the Blue Sea”, “My Love From Another Star” and I believe watching KIM JI WON & KIM SOO HYUN falling back in love will add them to the list.

▶︎ Flex X Cop

I hope they are planning multiple seasons for this one - I just love all these characters. Our main leads PARK JI HYUN & AHN BO HYUN of course, the rest of Team 1, (I've previously mentioned my love for Park Ji Hyun’s Lee Kang Hyun’s family) and after episode 12 - which was one of the most satisfying hours of television without being a finale - I am now in love with the entire detective division, the trashy reporter & Ji Soo’s dad. We only have 4 episodes left but it feels like there is so much more story here to explore. Fingers crossed we are not headed into our final 4 eps with this crew.

▶︎ Wonderful World

I don’t know guys…I really want to love this but it’s just so much. Maybe I just need more CHA EUN WOO and his seemingly complicated backstory. I obviously feel for KIM NAM JOO’s character and her soul-crushing grief is understandable but we have had 4 full episodes now and I don’t feel I know more than when I originally hit play on episode 1. The revenge is not revenging and who is exactly is getting this revenge? Did I just completely misread the original synopsis?

Well that ended. I have no idea exactly what happened but JO JUNG SEOK says it ended well so I believe him. 📣 Celebrating YOO TEO’s 1st Oscar season! Really enjoyed reading about his experiences growing up in Germany, mastering his korean ‘ㄹ’ for “Past Lives” and meeting Cillian Murphy.

📣 YOO AH IN’s “Goodbye Earth” will be released by NETFLIX! Very glad to hear this.

📣 Actors like KIM JI SEOK and HAN YE SEUL discuss the lack of work in kdramas, the state of the industry as a whole, and how it’s changing.
