I didn’t watch this one but everyone around me has been loving it. Fingers crossed this one sticks the landing for y’all!

The airing schedule hot mess continues to the end. They decided to air the Finale this week instead of giving us the last 2 episodes at the same time like they do over on Disney.

Am I annoyed? God Yes. This once-a-week thing is exhausting.

Will I watch? Also yes 😜

To answer last week’s question: the extra episode is indeed landing THIS WEEK.

✔︎ The Escape of The Seven S1…take 2

With a 17 Episode Season, I thought for sure they would release all 3 the same weekend. I was wrong. But that just gives us one more week of the most chaotic kdrama I have watched in a long while!

MY WATCHLIST

▶︎ Vigilante Watched the first 2 eps…not sure what I thought. Honestly, it didn’t grab me but shockingly when YOO JI TAE finally showed up at the end of episode 2 I was intrigued about what his character will do to our story.

Plus it’s only 8 episodes so I’ll most likely hang in there to the end.

▶︎ Moon In The Day STILL Obsessed. Still the reincarnation kdrama I have been waiting for! The chemistry, in both timelines, between our 2 leads PYO YE JIN & KIM YOUNG DAE is ‘as they say’ chemistrying so hard. And the angst. Lordy. It has it all.

▶︎ Good Day To Be A Dog It’s back this week! Here’s hoping we can start watching this one on the regular!

✔︎ The Killing Vote The Finale is THIS WEEK. The carnage at the end of episode 11 was heartbreaking. Fingers crossed our trusty investigation team works some magic in the final episode. This was a solid crime kdrama, not bogged down with a romance, though our two main leads LIM JI YEON & PARK HAE JIN did have great non-romantic chemistry and I would enjoy a season 2 with them solving a different crime.

✔︎ The Escape of the Seven S1 Everyone knows everything heading into the finale of Season One. Switched at birth, plastic surgery, murder, cyberbullying, teen pregnancy, you name it this makjang has it. Excited to see what chaos erupts at the end of Season One to tease us for Season Two!

▶︎ Perfect Marriage Revenge This couple SUNG HOON & JUNG YOO MIN is so satisfying and every week I want more. This week we finally learn a few KEY pieces of information (proving many of the theories we have been discussing on Discord!) My only quibble is our FL seems to be waffling between being the fierce woman out for revenge, that I love and the frail sad woman from the original timeline. Episode six sort of meandered but holy hell our couple finally hooking up…worth it 😈

📣 The Best Kdramas of 2023 as chosen by Industry Insiders. I need to know what the qualifications for this list is…only 2 of the Top 5 (including all the ties) would make my list. “The Glory” & “Revenant”. And I would put “Revenant” in the #1 Spot!

📣 Still not over JI CHANG WOOK in “The Worst of Evil”? This is a great interview about how he felt about his character Park Jun Mo and how he saw the relationship between himself & WI HA JOON’s Gi Chul.

📣 “The Marvels” Director NIA DACOSTA & fellow Kdrama fan, talks about casting PARK SEO JOON as Prince Yan after watching “Itaewon Class”.

📣 LEE JONG SUK is following in his GF IU’s business footsteps! It is being reported that he is planning on establishing his own production company under a new agency ACE FACTORY, which was responsible for all-time favorite “Secret Forest” as well as “Grid”. Seriously good company. Excited to see what this all means for his future projects!

📣 Not sure if this is good news or bad but Disney+ and Hulu will officially merge in March 2024. Here’s hoping we can save a few pennies only paying for one streamer and not 2.

📣 Speaking of money and Disney 🙄 Seems the production company is not been able to confirm the platform or release date of the upcoming JU JI HOON & HAN HYO JOO drama “Blood Free”. Originally set for Disney+
