I am intrigued by the cast of “A Bloody Lucky Day” but not sure on the story…

As much as I enjoy IM SIWAN, nothing about watching this talented 30+-year-old man playing a high schooler in “Boyhood” is calling to me 😬 Leave me a comment below if I’m missing something about this one!

Dropped “Strong Girl” pretty early on…how did it end up? Satisfying? Looks like TPTB liked it enough - they’re already talking about a Season 3.

JENN’S WATCHLIST

▶︎ Vigilante Eps 3 & 4 definitely were more enjoyable. The addition of maniacal fanboy LEE JOON HYUK & hulk of a human cop YOO JI TAE (how much weight did he put on for this role? He’s a BEAST) the stakes are much higher and far more entertaining. Really like this type of role for NAM JOO HYUK but I don’t feel the script isn’t giving him a ton to do so I’m not feeling horribly connected to his character. But as I said last week, it’s got enough going for it that I’ll definitely watch all 8 eps (+ they’re only 45 min each 😜)

▶︎ Moon In The Day This is THE ONE for me. I mentioned on Twitter that I can’t remember the last time I was this invested in a story. Their past lives. The dreams. The stares. And then the Lotus Seeds?! I am preparing for a tragic / bittersweet ending but feel like the writers have sprinkled a few nuggets of hope throughout…so keeping my fingers crossed. Heading into the ½ way turn this week - excited to see what gets revealed in our star-crossed, lost soul lovers tale!

I have already rewatched the 6 available episodes just to get a fix while I wait for Wednesday. And finally, ENA has started releasing the ‘making of’ vids! (I told you I had it BAD!)

▶︎ Good Day To Be A Dog Loved getting 2 eps last week, wish they would change their airing schedule! It’s just one of the sweetest stories & I simply adore PARK GYU YOUNG (and CHA EUN WOO) She makes being cursed to become a dog at midnight seem plausible. The slow-burn flirting between our two teachers is perfection and a much-needed squee after the angst of “Moon In The Day”.

Was also so excited to hear that one of my favorite Kdrama nuggets KIM MIN SEOK (who I recognize is now out of the military and well over 30 but he will always be a nugget to this ahjumma 😜) was making a cameo! Alas, he is still in his villain phase (looking at you “Delivery Man”) and is one of Cha Eun Woo’s bullies from high school. Sigh. Maybe next time.

▶︎ Perfect Marriage Revenge Still really enjoying this one! The Revenge is sweet and the couple is hot! I’m writing this before I watch Ep 8 so this quibble may be pointless but I am ready to learn more about SUNG HOON’s character. After their hook-up scene we saw that SUNG HOON also has the time stamp on his wrist I thought we might finally be learning some of his back story and how he got HERE but nope. With only 4 episodes to go I need answers!

I need to see the final installment!

📣 In other RYU JUN YEOL news I am very excited to see his return - along with the rest of this fun cast - in “Alieniod Part 2” in January! We had a great time ranking our favorite characters from the first movie ”Alieniod Part 1”/

📣 One of my favorite comedy actors in kdramaland HWANG BO RA announced on her IG that she is expecting her first child with her husband of one year (& partner for over 10!) Congratulations!
