It’s a late night KDrama Coffee Break ☕️ this week.

Weird week in Kdrama Casting. Nothing happened. No big casting rumors, confirmations, or discussions. Nothing was posted anywhere this week. This could be another signal that the KDrama machine is slowing down. (Or just that we’ll be able to catch up on our backlog of dramas again this time next year!)

I’ve been chatting recently about how production budgets are getting a tad large in SK and here in Hollywood. And I know in Hollywood it’s being reported that many of the streamers [OTT] are cutting back on how many scripted series they’re greenlighting.

So yeah, it could be an interesting year for our Kdrama calendar. As always I’ll do my best to keep you posted!

We did get a ton of teasers this week though. From Netflix’s 2024 Lineup to “Wonderful World” hitting us with a pile of show and character teasers!

Since we didn’t have any casting news to discuss, I thought it would be fun to write up a Kdrama AstroCorner to celebrate SON SUKKU’s Birthday [02.07] and Netflix Premiere of "A Killer Paradox” ♒️🤩

As I've mentioned previously, I went back to Astrology school! I am now studying the Traditional astrology 'of the ancients' 😜 

For real, this shit is old y'all!

The biggest difference from Modern astrology is the importance of Houses - which tells us where in a person's life this energy will manifest most acutely. Unfortunately, without a birth time, we can not determine an individual's correct house sequence.

But that's never stopped us before! We can still look at the core energy each planet/sign combo is giving off and how it relates to the person in question.

So that is exactly what we're going to do since we do not have a birth time for Son Sukku. I will be looking at his planets, signs and their archetypes.

SON SUKKU has his SUN in AQUARIUS ♒️

This gives him a life force that is full of ideas. These ideas will be inventive and quite logical. He most likely also has a soft spot for the collective and social justice. Aquarius is a fixed sign so more than just a tad stubborn. He will be committed to his many ideas, while also having a bit of rebellious nature.

Aquarius is ruled by Saturn, the planet of structure and discipline. With his sun sign here Son Sukku has the mental dedication to accomplish his goals. Additionally, with a Saturn-ruled air sign he will be pretty self-contained and not really need people to feel secure.
