✅ CONFIRMED: Easily the biggest Casting News of the Week LEE JOON HYUK has been confirmed for the “Forest of Secrets” (“Stranger”) Spin-Off “Good or Bad Dong Jae”. Scheduled to air sometime in 2024.

I have so many questions. Will this series take place before or after “Forest of Secrets 2” & his abduction? Will his new BFF Hwang Si Moo make a cameo appearance? or Bae Doona’s Han Yeo Jin?! AND what about the Rom-Com he was offered with Han Ji Min? But overall YES! The More Lee Joon Hyuk the Better!

✅ CONFIRMED: In more Spin-off news, the latest Kdrama ‘It Girl’ GO YOON JUNG is keeping her dance card FULL. She is set to lead the latest from the “Hospital Playlist” team currently titled “Someday Wise Resident Life”. This time around she’ll be putting down her superhero skills and portraying the ups & downs of friendship and hospital life for a 1st-year university major in Obstetrics and Gynecology. “Black Knight” star KANG YOO SEOK has also confirmed that they are joining the cast in a lead role. No word on what this role is just yet.

✅ CONFIRMED: HWANG MINHYUN is also wasting no time! “My Lovely Liar” just ended and already we have the full cast lineup for his next leading project “Study Group” (based on the webtoon). Joined by HAN JI EUN as his homeroom teacher and tutor “Study Group” will tell the tale of Yoon Ga Min. He is a high school student who studies hard for college at ‘the worst school on earth’ to no avail. But when one of his study group gets bullied, he falls back on what he knows best: fighting.

✅ CONFIRMED: GO YOON JUNG’s “Alchemy of Souls” co-star LEE JAE WOOK has officially confirmed his next project based on a novel. This historical drama boasts a truly STACKED CAST of kdrama favorites. Starting with the other Jae Wook, KIM JAE WOOK, plus PARK BYUNG EUN, JO BO AH, JUNG GA RAM & UHM JI WON. Unfortunately, it’s scheduled for a struck streamer so I can’t say much more than that…

✅ CONFIRMED: KIM HAE SOOK confirmed she is joining the kdrama remake of the 2014 movie “Miss Granny”. She will be playing the Granny who turns back into a 20-year-old & pursues her dream of becoming a singer. I LOVE Kim Hae Sook. She’s always playing the best & loudest characters. And her 20-year-old counterpart in this one is none other than our favorite ‘wee shaman’ JUNG JI SO!

🧐 OFFER: GO YOON JUNG Part 2! She’s the latest reviewing an offer from the Hong Sisters for their upcoming project “Can This Love Be Interpreted?” story about a Top Actor and their interpreter. This project has been reviewed by SON SUKKU, HAN SO HEE (both passed) and the script is still currently on KIM SEON HO’s desk awaiting a decision. Go Yoon Jung just confirmed her role in the “Hospital Playlist” Spin-off, so her participation may come down to scheduling. Not sure what the casting issues are, but I have to admit the Kim Seon Ho / Han So Hee match-up has been my favorite so far.

🗣️RUMOR: It’s being reported that KWAK SI YANG may be joining AHN BO HYUN & PARK JI HYUN in their latest drama “Chaebol and Police Detective” / “Gold Spoon”. No word on his role. This drama is listed as airing late 2023.

🗣️RUMOR: EXO Member SUNHO is rumored to be joining the new historical drama from the “Bossam Steal the Fate” team. Listed as a Rom-Com titled “The Crown Prince is Missing”, not much else is currently known. Stay tuned for more details!
