• “Knight Flower” is our only Finale this week. It’s been a fun ride and I’m curious where our team of Hero Merchants all land.

• “Flex X Cop” is back on the calendar this week!

• “Love Song For Illusion” is either giving us 1 or 2 eps on Tuesday this week. All sources seem to be pointing to No Monday episode.

We’re Getting “A Shop For Killers” S2…Right?!

▶︎ Marry My Husband
The hot mess of episode 12 aside, this is still a highlight of my week. The main romance is strong and our 2nd & 3rd couples seem to have launched. Our players are all in place for the final showdown. I can’t wait to watch our heroes Kang Ji Won (PARK MIN YOUNG) & Yoo Ji Hyuk (NA IN WOO) enact their final revenge [insert evil laugh 😈] We still have 4 eps to enjoy and with how solid the story has been so far I am beyond excited to see what they bring.

✔︎ A Shop For Killers
I just need MORE. The finale was satisfying and well done but I could have used less recap in ep 7 and more ‘what the hell was the plan!’ after the reveal in ep 8. There is so much story still here to explore.

The actors were fantastic across the board. KIM MIN as Pasin & GEUM HAE NA as Minhye were two characters I won’t forget soon!

KIM HYE JOON crushed it as the niece thrown into the deep end of a world she had no idea existed. But it seems, unwittingly, she was trained for, for most of her life. While I did have moments when I wondered why her uncle left her to fend for herself, she clearly had ‘it’ in her blood. Uncle Jinman made sure she was ready and had allies.

LEE DONG WOOK was simply fantastic as our stoic uncle who was not only a vicious mercenary, dark web Shop Owner, but also the adoptive father to more than just his Jeong Ji An. Lee Dong Wook showed us all the complexities of a man with this many layers. Which, for me, made the ending that much more frustrating when we didn’t get to see all of what he did to get there. But these are minor quibbles for a drama that kept me riveted and excited every week!

They HAVE TO give us a Season 2 to fill out this story.

Can’t believe I was invested in this show to the end! It didn’t start strong and the romance is definitely not its strong suit. But the main story with the left minister and his plots & schemes along with the many strong badass women in this town, have really kept me entertained. Excited to see how our ‘widow’ finally gets her life back in this final week.

▶︎ Queen of Divorce
Still not really feeling this one…I think it’s just the FL to be honest. But so many of you during this week’s LIVE said how much you’re enjoying it I’m going to keep going this week. Who knows maybe it’ll grow on me like “Knight Flower” did!

★ A Killer Paradox
Only got through the first 4 episodes since Friday. I like it. I LOVE SON SUKKU. This man can play ALLLLL the detectives. It took me an episode or two to hook in but now I need to know where it’s all headed. Will bring my full thoughts next week.

▶︎ Captivating The King
Love that our king didn’t care that his Mongwoo was a man, he loved him. Ultimately, the romance here is the secret sauce for me. If the chemistry between JO JUNG SEOK and SHIN SE KYUNG wasn’t so ridiculously good, the story itself would not keep me going. Do I have a truckload of quibbles about her secret identity as a man? You bet I do!…just check out our LIVE to get my full ‘rant’ 😜 but there is no denying these 2 pop on screen and I will keep watching to the bitter end - even if I have no idea what is actually happening 😆
