Honestly, I was prepared to be disappointed - as we often are even when we love the casting (cough “See You In My 19th Life” cough) 

Readers, Park Gyu Young & Cha Eun Woo did NOT disappoint. These 2 episodes were a perfect RomCom setup.

I laughed out loud multiple times. And you know how much that means to me!

PARK GYU YOUNG is perfection as our quirky teacher with a curse that turns her into a dog if she kisses a guy. And CHA EUN WOO is adorable as the guy who is kissed and just happens to be afraid of dogs.

These first 2 eps gave us a super solid fantasy RomCom with a curse that seems to date back to the Joseon Era…because of course. 😉

Can’t wait for more! Though only getting one episode a week is going to be a tough wait.

🐶 As an animal lover, I also loved the cast’s Viewership Pledge to volunteer or donate to an abandoned dog center or dog cafe when their viewership ratings reach 8%. LET’S GO!!

😎 PARK HYUNG SIK made big news this week. First, there was his “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” reunion with Park Bo Young on “Strong Girl Namsoon”. I didn’t even love their drama all that much, but seeing them back together was a lot of fun and made me add, an official reunion between the two to my kdrama wish list.

He also announced his first Asia Fan Meet Tour starting in Seoul, November 26th…if you’re in the area keep an eye out for details!

💞CHA CHUNG HWA - one of my favorites and absolutely hilarious kdrama actress, (“Mr. Queen” and the only highlight for me in “See You In My 19th Life”) has announced her marriage to her non-celebrity boyfriend on October 27th! Congratulations to the happy couple!!

🍿 JUNG SO MIN & KANG HANEUL’s RomCom “30 Days” took the top spot at the Korean Box Office, beating out “Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman”, which had held the #1 spot since the Chuseok Holiday.

🍿 SONG JOONG KI discusses why he didn’t take a paycheck for his latest film “Hopeless”. Chatting with Lee Dong Jin on his YouTube channel BTV’s Piarchia, Song Joong Ki explains why he waived his fee for this particular project. He says he was just trying to help keep the costs down and help keep the charm of the story intact but now he worries - jokingly - that future producers will want him to waive his fee as well. \

🍿 SHIN MIN AH & KIM HAE SOOK’s healing fantasy film “3 Days of Vacation” has confirmed its release in December, just in time for the holidays! It will tell the story of a mother who comes down from heaven, for three days, to visit with her daughter. In addition to these two powerhouse women, we will get to see a friendlier, less murder-y KANG KI YOUNG as Mom’s angelic guide back to earth.
