I ADORE KANG HAN NA so “Frankly Speaking” is a must-watch. I don’t expect the chemistry between her and GO KYUNG PYO to outdo my “Bloody Heart” couple, but feel like they will be hilarious and a lot of fun. Hope I’m right!

And please, there is no way I would miss JANG KI YONG’s first drama after his military service “The Atypical Family”. Add in the superhero fantasy element and THIS PIC…and well, as the kids say, SEATED.

JU JI HOON 21st Century Bionic Man?

This drama grows on me every week! I’m really looking forward to the Adult versions of our Im Sol KIM HYE YOON and Ryu Seon Jae BYEON WOO SEOK that were teased for this week. The time travel has rules and so far we’re sticking to them. The past has been changed but we now have 2 different versions of Im Sol’s accident and teasers of her walking in the future. This story is complicated enough to keep me guessing and straightforward enough to make it a delightful time jump romcom. I think I need to rewatch the first 6 eps again to fully understand all the clues before we move to a new time period.

The chemistry has really been carrying this one for me - until this week. After last week’s cliffhanger where our favorite bodyguard JU JI HOON gets shot, this week our brilliant mad scientist HAN HYO JOO and her team take him back to the lab and save his life. Their chemistry is still smoldering and I need much more but now we have a Ju Ji Hoon becoming the Bionic Man so I am ALL IN. And I feel like I’m going to need more than just the 4 episodes we have left.

These people are all trash - except LEE JOON 😉- but as it happened in Season 1, I’m starting to fall for this toxic crew and want them to not be destroyed 😆 I couldn’t even begin to explain all the crazy that has happened so far and we still have 6 eps to go! It was a lot of fun to see the remaining 6 come together to save Hannah & hopefully Go Myung Ji JO YOON HEE because it’s just too much to have Yang Jin Mo YOON JONG HOON raise all of his dead loves children 😳 

I’m behind this week but still intrigued to learn about all the skeletons in Seol Woo Jae’s JANG SEUNG JO closet.

Lots of thoughts. Marisa and I worked through our feelings on “Queen of Tears” with our KDrama Coffee Break crew on Sunday. Thanks to everyone who joined us! In a nutshell, we wanted to love it as much as it seemed the greater kdrama viewing audience did…alas we did not. Actors were great. There is no question there. For me, it’s the bloated script and needed a good editor. But y’all already know that 😉
