✅ CONFIRMED: The Kdrama Gods have listened! WI HA JOON’s agency has confirmed he will be taking the lead in a new drama “Graduation” from the “Something In The Rain” / “One Spring Night” director. Yes, he is finally playing the romantic lead! Fingers crossed it will be worthy of all that smolder - the synopsis could really go either way: High School student returns to his alma mater as a teacher and to reunite with his first love, who just happens to be his old high school teacher…see what I mean? I rarely say no to a noona romance & JUNG RYEO WON has been offered the first love / teacher role - so, while I’m a tad nervous - I’m definitely intrigued. MORE BELOW!

✅ CONFIRMED: RAIN & KIM HA NEUL will be taking the lead for an upcoming kdrama “Scandal of Hwain Family”. The plot sounds “The Bodyguard”-ish but with more SCANDAL. I really dig KIM HA NEUL (“On The Way to The Airport” 😍) but I’m pretty neutral on RAIN - though I did enjoy him quite a bit in “Ghost Doctor” but that might have been because of KIM BUM 😆…right now this one is a wait & see for me.

👀 OFFER: BAE DOONA is in talks to come back to kdrama! She is considering a new futurist thriller drama “Family Plan” where villains’ brains are bio-hacked to feel more pain than they inflicted on their victims for the remainder of their lives. [That sounds terrifying.] It’s not clear the role Bae Doona will be playing but y’all know if Bae Doona is there, so am I.

👀 OFFER: JUNG HAE IN received a casting offer that will send him back to the land of kdrama romance “Some And Shopping”. The sparce plot going around the internet doesn’t give us much: CEO of a cosmetics company and a top home shopping host who fight endlessly during the day but cry for each other at night. 🤷‍♀️ No Idea. But it’s Jung Hae In. And he’s coming off “D.P.” 1 & 2 as well as “Snowdrop”, coupled with his rom-com beginnings? I can see him making a meal out of this classic kdrama setup. No word yet on who will be taking on the role of the Top Home Shopping Host.

👀 OFFER: As mentioned above JUNG RYEO WON has been offered the Female Lead for “Graduation” opposite WI HA JOON. I hope she says yes - I have always enjoyed her fiery characters. When they are both adults (he’s 32 she’s 42) I love this pairing. Not gonna lie though, I am worried that the production team could make the relationship super creepy when they are teacher / student. Sending my plea to the Kdrama Gods to keep that from happening!
