Got this one out a bit late today, my apologies.

Not gonna lie, being unemployed for the past year (due to the double Hollywood strike) finally caught up to me and I needed a mental health week/end. But I’m back refreshed and rejuvenated and ready to talk KDrama with everyone!

• Long awaited & much anticipated “Queen of Tears” begins it run this Saturday. I’m still concerned that this is going to be a LOT of tears though. The original synopsis about our girl KIM JI WON’s Queen having a terminal illness is making the rounds again… 😬 

• But on a more fun note “General Hospital”, “1923”, and “Fringe” alum SEBASTIAN ROCHÉ is confirmed to be joining the “Queen of Tears” cast as a German Doctor. Not sure how many episodes or how large the role but excited to see a seasoned English-speaking actor in the KDrama world!

And I Think To Myself What Did I Just Watch?

★ Wonderful World

The first 2 episodes were a lot for me. I think I enjoyed them? You know me by now - I do not enjoy slogging through grief for 2 full episodes. But I am intrigued. Though not sure what exactly this story IS. The opening scene between CHA EUN WOO & KIM NAM JOO mirroring the tragedy that is about to unfold was a tense way to start. Definitely needed more CHA EUN WOO and his mysterious ways in the first 2 episodes. Why was he at the jail? Multiple times. Why is he working for the corrupt politician? And most importantly WHY IS HE WORKING IN A JUNK YARD?! 😆 (I needed them to cue the Flashdance trailer for that montage!)

Kim Nam Joo, of course, crushed it as a grieving mother. But I the character I really felt bad for was the husband [KIM KANG WOO]. He lost both his son and wife, whom he obviously adored, in a split second, and ended up horribly alone. Though I’m worried he was up to some shenanigans. Someone clearly left that gate open. I hope whatever blackmail our corrupt politician knows is not as bad as they want us to think.

Overall, I’m on board for the mystery and revenge!

I still really look forward to hitting on this drama every week. I was relieved to see that they didn’t abandon the fun of the show after the big Ji Soo [AHN BO HYUN] lost mom memory reveal. It was nice to see his team rally around him like a real team. And while I don't need romance this season, I do really enjoy the growing friendship and bond between our spoiled chaebol and his team leader [PARK JI HYUN]. We only have 6 eps left! I really hope the plan to make this an ongoing series happens, hanging out with this group every week, just makes me happy 🥰

I still haven’t finished the final 2 episodes…will have my thoughts ready to go for the LIVE on Sunday!

📣 BIG NEWS from Dispatch this week (though I will never understand why 🤦‍♀️) LEE JAE WOOK is dating! And she’s an idol! Of course he is. He’s a wildly successful, good-looking actor, in his 20’s. Do we think he’s just hiding at home? Oh and he also left his agency to set up his own company…coincidence? Netizens think not.

📣 Military Enlistment Updates: SONG KANG & HWANG MIN HYUN announced their upcoming military enlistment dates. While KANG TAE HO is scheduled to be discharged in the next 3 weeks!

📣 So was JO JUNG SUK’s faceless YouTube channel all one big promo for his new NETFLIX series?
